**UPDATE** Special thanks to all who donated to the cause of rescuing more dogs off death row!!! Due to your overwhelming generosity, we have rescued not only the two dogs we were striving to save, (the Dal pup and Shar Pei) but also were able to take FOUR MORE this week because of all the donations!!!!!!

If you visit our main site, you will soon see the faces of the new dogs....better pics will be taken shortly, but you should see Charlette (aka Penelope) the dal pup, Nimbus the Shar pei, Jamison a blue tick hound, J.D. a walker hound, Tony and Carmella, a pointer-dal pair. These are the dogs that your donations went to saving this week.
When we reach our goal of $5000 we will be able to rescue several more! Please continue to forward this page to friends and family and help us meet that goal. The cause is such a good one and we're all volunteer, so 100% of the donations go to saving more dogs!!! We are very active with rescuing, so when the funds are coming in, we're on our way to the shelter!!

**ABOUT LUCKY DOG RESCUE:
Lucky Dog Rescue's mission is to save dogs who are about to be euthanized at kill shelters. This is an expensive endeavor, and when we cannot find foster homes to house the dogs off death row, we then look to temporarily board them in oder to save their life and buy time.
If you cannot become a foster home, please consider sponsoring the boarding cost of a dog on death row! It buys them time so that we can advertise their pictures and bio on petfinder, on our main site, at adoption events and through word of mouth and emails. Homes are found for most dogs within one month. Buying them that time is a gift of life for a dog and gives them a second chance at finding a happy, forever home.
