2008 Autumn Escape on the Cape!!

 Seems kind of far away, well it is a WHOLE year. Lots of time for you to consider  helping me support  research for Alpha1Antitrypsin deficiency,  Usually called Alpha1 for short.

 I have inherited the genetic disease from a gene by each parent at conception. I had a double lung transplant, am happy to report it will be 7 years ago on 4-25-08.

 I have 2 siblings with the deficiency, and I have 3 sibling as carriers (they only inherited one gene). and one sibling totally normal.(genetically :)

 The ride in 2008, will be my 12th year working toward awareness, with the American  Lung Association of Mass.  and for the Alpha1 Foundation.

The money I raise will go directly to the Alpha 1 Foundation , so they can grant the scientific investigators money to look for a cure. Otherwise , our only hope!

Please consider me and my team mates when you give thanks, and celebrate new life, and each year you can still breathe. A small donation by many over the next 12 months will surely make my goal achievable.
