Sister to Sister is Challenging You to Improve Your Heart Health!
Welcome! Please join us in our fight against Women's Heart Disease by participating in the 2009 Detroit Sister to Sister Fitness Challenge. The Fitness Challenge program is designed to engage the women of Metro Detroit in heart healthy lifestyle behaviors while generating awareness about women’s heart disease and raising funds to support the Sister to Sister mission.
Here's how to get involved...
· Commit to participate in a self-monitored fitness program to improve your heart health
· Choose any form of exercise you want. It can be any physical activity from walking your dog, to running, swimming, Yoga, etc.
· Request donations from your friends and family in support of your Fitness Challenge to fight women’s heart disease
· Track your progress and collect donations through the site
· Start or join a team with friends or co-workers to compete against other organizations in a Team or Corporate Challenge
· Join us at the free 4th annual Sister to Sister Detroit Women's Heart Health Fair on Friday, April 24th for free heart screenings, exciting programming, fitness & cooking demos and tips on leading a heart-healthy lifestyle
