WELCOME TO POLAR PLUNGE 2010 REGISTRATION!
The Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) Polar Plunge is a unique opportunity to support Special Olympics Illinois! Plungers raise at least $75 in donations from friends, family and co-workers in exchange for jumping into the icy winter waters!
All proceeds collected by Plungers benefit the more than 22,000 athletes of Special Olympics Illinois. In 2009, more than $991,000 was raised by 3,623 Plungers. Join the fun by freezin' for a reason!

The Law Enforcement is the single largest year-round fundraising vehicle benefiting Special Olympics Illinois. The annual intrastate relay and its various fundraising projects have two goals: to raise money and to gain awareness for the athletes who participate in Special Olympics Illinois. The LETR as raised more than $16.825 million over 23 years while increasing awareness of SO ILL athletes and their accomplishments.
