The Plane Pull is an extreme man vs. machine event where teams of 20 play tug-of-war with a UPS Airbus A300 aircraft weighing more than 99 tons!

Each team of up to 20 will attempt to pull the aircraft 12 feet in record time. Teams will compete in one of two divisions: Open or Public Safety.  Teams competing in the Public Safety Division (law enforcement, firefighters, DNR, DOC, military personnel, etc.) need at least 10 public safety competitors to qualify.

Each team member must raise a minimum of $50, with each team collecting at least $1,000 to participate.  Best of all, all proceeds benefit the more than 21,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities of Special Olympics Illinois!
