INSPIRATION WALK 2009

SPECIAL OLYMPICS Maryland Baltimore County is hosting its fourth Inspiration Walk on April 19, 2009. By participating in the Special Olympics Maryland Baltimore County INSPIRATION WALK you will be helping to provide year round sports training and athletic competition and Leadership programs for Baltimore County children with intellectual disabilities and closely related developmental disabilities. SOMDBA offers sports training and athletic competition in 16 Olympic type sports in 4 sports seasons as well as a variety of Athletic Leadership Programs. All of our programs are free to our athletes and their families thanks to generous community members who believe in the Special Olympic Mission.

OUR VISION in Special Olympics Maryland Baltimore County is to help bring Special Olympics athletes into the large society under conditions whereby they are accepted, respected and given the chance to become useful and productive citizens.

YOU CAN BE an individual walker, join a team, or be a team leader, to help with the Inspiration Walk.

We welcome all Inspiration Walkers! All participants who have at least $25.00 in pledges will be given an Inspiration Walk T-shirt. All participants will be entered into a drawing or prizes. Water and snacks will be provided to all participants.
