The Marshall Run  is a Memorial Run for Tpr. Kevin M. Marshall and will take place on September 1st at 9:00 a.m. at Riverfront Park in Newaygo. 

This is a 5k Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run. 

Location

Riverfront Park is located in downtown Newaygo.  The entrance to the park is off of Water St, which runs west off of M-37 (near Wisner Canoe Rentals).

 

Course Description

Runners will run along a paved walking path in Riverfront Park and along River St.  The course has one noticeable hill and will be run on pavement.

12 and under           35-39                       60-64      

13-18                       40-44                       65-69

19-24                       45-49                       70 and Over

25-29                       50-54

30-34                       55-59

·         Awards for the top three finishers in each age group

·         Overall Police Officers male and female awards

 

Money raised from this event goes to support Special Olympics Michigan. Special Olympics Michigan provides year round competition for over 19,000 individuals with intellectual disabilities.
