Just to give you some background.  For those of you that don’t know, I was recently diagnosed with Lupus in April 2008 after a long trying and exhausting year of symptoms and tests, they finally figured out what was going on with me. Right now the disease is just attacking my blood/platelets and I’m on medication that is going to try and stop the disease from progressing (which it will eventually do over time) to my organs and other soft tissue. I have a great support group of friends and family and I think right now I need to do what I can to help support my Lupus family and to make others aware of this disease. 

I participated in my first walk Ocotober 25th 2008 and it was such a great experience.  I raised almost $500 which I'm very proud of for my first year doing this.  So this time I'm trying to raise more money and I'm starting a lot earlier.  So all your donations and support are greatly appreciated.
