Songs of Love invites you to hold your own mini-fundraiser to help more children get their very own "song of love."  Once you have created your own page (by clicking the link above), you can send your page out to all your family and friends, asking for a small donation.  You can pledge to sponsor one child's "song of love" by raising $250, or determine your own goal.  You can also use FirstGiving to ask people to sponsor you in an event you organize, or to pay tribute to a loved one.  There are many other uses provided by FistGiving, which you can learn about by clicking the link above.  Use this easy tool to raise funds for Songs of Love and make a child smile!

The Songs of Love Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to writing personalized songs for children and teens facing tough medical, physical, or emotional challenges, free of charge.  Songs are written by professional songwriters for children up to and including the age of 21.  Lyrics include references to the child's interests, hobbies and loved ones.  Songs can be written in any style of music - from classical to hip-hop to rock - and in any language. 

Parents, teachers and hospital workers have seen first hand the joy that a "song of love" can bring to a child as they play their song over and over again - in the car, at home, and at school during show and tell.  "Songs of Love" are often played before, during, and after medical treatments as a therapeutic tool used to alleviate the pain that goes along with the procedures. 

Because each song is writen and composed from scratch, it costs the organization $250 to produce each song.  When you take into account all of the expenses related to running the organization, donating to Songs of Love is proven to be a very cost-effective way to bring a smile to a deserving child's face.

The Songs of Love Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
