This will be my 3rd year walking in the St Paul Buddy Walk and I am SOOOO excited!!!  Mommy's going to bring my new stroller in case I get tired, but I am determined to walk as much as I can. 

This last year has been great.  Sophie is walking and now running too.  She still sees a therapist once a week at daycare.  Once she turns 3 (after Thanksgiving Break) Sophie will start going to school 4 days a week.  Yikes!!  She has a full arsenal of words now and is VERY good at mimicking mommy and daddy in words and actions.  We're in our 2nd session of gymnastics which she loves too, especially jumping off the high beam.  We're learning how to ride our trike and are getting really good at running away from Mommy when it's time for bed.  : ) 

In April we had our 2 year post-op checkup with our cardiologist Dr. Han.  Sophie's AV Canal repair went SO well that the echo appears as though her heart was never worked on.  We've been given the ok to see the cardiologist every two years now!  Praise the Lord!

Last year we raised almost $7000 and this year we are going for a record-breaking $8000.  I know that times are hard for everyone, but please remember this money goes directly to the MN DSA for support sessions for parents and research for all the kids out there.  We could not do this without you! 

This year we're going to have team t-shirts again and a canopy so please bring chairs or a blanket if you plan on coming early to hang out with us.  If you don't want to walk, you can hang out at the tent with Papa or join the rest of us on the 1 mile walk around Lake Como.  We would love to have ALL of you there!
