Law Enforcement Torch Run!
Over 300 Wyoming Law Enforcement representatives and their friends are will hit the streets, highways and byways of the Cowboy state. In addition to fulfilling their duties of maintaining order and keeping our streets safe, they are fulfilling another type of duty…raising funds and public awareness for Special Olympics Wyoming athletes!
Torch Run legs are scheduled to begin May 7, 2012 at fourteen different starting points around the state. Hundreds will escort the Flame of Hope to the State Summer Games Opening Ceremonies in Laramie. The arrival of law enforcement and the lighting of the cauldron will officially begin the Games on May 10, 2012!
