My personal message:

Hi everyone - Its that time again!  CHA Animal Shelter is holding its annual Dog Jog 5K run and walk - this is its 19th year!!  Max and I will be running in it.  It’s on August 22nd, and is one of our largest fundraisers.  So please consider joining us, or if you can, making a donation to CHA instead.  These tough economic times have made this a very trying year for CHA, but there are still so many homeless animals out there, and we won't stop until homeless pet overpopulation is no longer an epidemic. 

As many of you might know, Max and I have been volunteering here for years, and I am currently the President of the organization. We put so much time and effort into this place because it’s a wonderful organization and worth it. 
 
Any little bit helps!  $100 will vaccinate and microchip a litter of kittens or puppies.  $50 will neuter a cat.  $10 will rabies vaccinate any animal.  Even $5 would help toward much needed supplies and medicines.  No amount is too small, so please consider a donation of any size!
