Our personal message:

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.  So read on ......

I decided that I’d like to help support Children of Chornobyl Relief and Development Fund (CCRDF) after seeing the work they do and the dedication of their staff.

CCRDF is an international non-profit organization with offices in Ukraine and the U.S. , developing life-saving medical programs in Ukraine .

Having worked in Ukraine since 1990,CCRDF is Ukraine ’s longest standing charity.  They have launched 32 airlifts and 16 sea shipments, delivering over $57 million dollars worth of medical aid to their 24 partner hospitals.

CCRDF’s primary objective is to strengthen the Women’s and Children’s Health Initiative Programs in the fields of neonatalogy, perinatalogy, infant cardiac surgery, and pediatric oncology.

Read more about the fantastic work that Children of Chornobyl Relief and Development Fund are doing at  <http://www.childrenofchornobyl.org/> and please help us to achieve our goal of purchasing an urgently needed respirator for the Volynian Regional Children’s Clinical Medical Hospital located in northwest Ukraine.

I will be running in the Courchevel XTRAIL 2009 in France .  The run is on 9th August and is 30km  (18.6 miles) with elevation gain and loss of 2000m  (6560 feet).

>…. I may need to use that respirator unit myself!

This will be a huge challenge, and while you can’t help with my running, you can help in supporting us in raising funds to buy this new, live-saving medical equipment unit for our partner hospital.

Thanks for your support, and please don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too – every little bit helps.

For those people who don't like putting their credit card details on-line, I also accept cold hard cash!

And next year ..... the Goretex Transalpine......

Steve
