On May 16th I will be taking a Good Walk for Kids at the Life is good Festival in Golden Gate Park. I’m committed to making a positive difference for our area’s most vulnerable kids. Can you help me? Any donation amount is welcome.

Every dollar raised will be donated by the Life is Good Kids Foundation to Project Joy, where one of my best friends from college is the Director of Operations. Project Joy is a grassroots nonprofit that uses the power of play to heal and strengthen children whose lives have been deeply impacted by fear and trauma. Their mission is simple: to ensure that nothing (not poverty, not violence, not neglect) destroys the playfulness of children.  In June, Project Joy will use the funds received to begin providing training, consultation and tools to frontline childcare providers who are caring for many of the Bay Area’s most vulnerable children.  For more info on Project Joy's outstanding work, visit www.pjkids.org
