Friends and Family,

PepyND was started in 2007 as a student support group for the Pepy Ride, a nonprofit created by a Notre Dame grad. The Pepy Ride offers volunteer trips which support the Pepy educational programs in Chanleas Dai, Cambodia. Over the past few years our small group has served Pepy in fundraiser and consulting roles and are currently building a website for a new forum for discussion and idea sharing to support voluntourism companies. Last year we were even able to save a child from poverty through the Cambodian Children's Fund. 

This May, seven students will visit Cambodia, offering aid to various nonprofits, touring the countryside, and taking a group of 100 fourth graders to the national treasure, the Angkor Wat temple complex.

In order to fulfill our role as a student volunteer trip, we will be raising money to support the new building of a junior high school in Chanleas Dai. Under the current economic climate, Pepy has fallen short over $30,000 on fundraising goals for the past year and need our help.
