While this page gives you an opportunity to donate to the Lupus Foundation, we also view the Mad Hatter Walk as an opportunity to connect with all of our friends and family.  So many people have been a lifeline to our family, and we want to thank you, and would love to spend time with you on the Walk (or at some other time).

Unfortunately, Lupus plays a major role in our day to day lives.  The disease often seems all-consuming and defines our lives.  We've decided that we want to take an active role in fighting back.  As a result, we are asking our friends and family to donate in two ways:

1. To give your time, and to walk with us.  By being together we can fight for our health, friendships, and also have a good time. 

2. To donate for a good cause.  There have been very few medical advances against Lupus in the past 50 years.  While we may not directly benefit by research, we feel it is up to us to help fund research that may minimize the suffering that others experience.

If you are available on October 17th 2009 please consider joining us on the Walk and/or donating. 

Do not feel pressure to donate, but please note that donating through this website is pretty easy and totally secure.
