Tails 'n Trails Pet Walk & Festival will be held on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Haymarket Park. Join Jade, Star & JoLee and Gracie, the 2011 Top Fundraising Dogs, along with other pet owners in meeting and socializing on this festive day! Enter the cutest pet costume contest, the biggest dog contest, littlest dog contest, pet/human look-a-like contest and best pet trick contest. Other events include the Peanut Butter Lick, Retrieve the Duck and demonstrations on the amazing things dogs can do!
Tails 'n Trails Pet Walk & Festival is the society's main goodwill fundraising event that gives all members of the community the opportunity to share a fun day with their pets and family and also show support for the shelter. The fundraising goal for this year's event is $50,000 and all funds raised will benefit the Foster Care Program, Humane Education, Animal Adoptions and the Spay/Neuter Program.
