Tails 'n Trails Pet Walk & Festival will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Haymarket Park.  Join Jade, Star & JoLee and Millie, the 2010 Top Fundraising Dogs, along with other pet owners in meeting and socializing on this festive day!    Enter the cutest pet costume contest, the biggest shedder contest, biggest dog contest, littlest dog contest, pet/human look-a-like contest and best trick contest.  Other events include the Peanut Butter Lick, Egg Relay Race and Retrieve the Duck!

Tails 'n Trails Pet Walk & Festival is the society's main goodwill fundraising event that gives all members of the community the opportunity to share a fun day with their pets and family and also show support for the shelter.  The fundraising goal for this year's event is $50,000 and all funds raised will benefit the Foster Care Program, Humane Education, Animal Adoptions and the Spay/Neuter Program.
