The Tapestry Church Building Campaign

In an effort to maximize our ministry / mission reach and minimize excess spending, we have opted to take a three phase approach to our building plan. We are currently and always looking for a facility that will meet the needs of our church, allowing us the ability to expand from our current 75 - 80 people that attend between our Sunday morning and Sunday evening services to a possible 300 people.

We have found a couple places that would be possibilities, however, we do not feel comfortable spending the amount that it costs to rent these facilities, so we have decided to stop, pray, raise funds for our vision and take a phased approach.

Also, as a church, we have decided that our facility MUST BE multi-functional. We want to allow space for creative groups, artists and musicians to record, paint and do all things creative during open sessions, seminars and events. We plan to use this facility to truly help our community since there are so few spaces available for creative people to do their work!

So, WE CANNOT SETTLE! We have to pray and wait!

Here is how our simple 3 Phase approach will work:

PHASE I

Move the AM service to Rockview Elementary School and change the time to 11am starting April 6, 2008.

Raise between $2500 - $5000 for equipment so that we will be able to sustain a church at the school. Also, purchasing equipment that will synergize , allowing us continued use at our final facility.

PHASE II

Move the Sunday Evening Service to Rockview Elementary School from Twinbrook Community Church starting June 1, 2006.

Raise the rest of the $12,500.00 so that we will be ready for renovations at our new facility!

PHASE III

Acquiring our building and renovating! Sometime in 2009 or before!
