Each year around the Feast of Lights, TarValon.Net honors the charitable spirit of the holidays by sponsoring a charity that makes a difference in our world community.   This year we're proud to announce our support of "Doctors Without Borders", an exceptional international organization that brings medical care to those who most desperately need it.  This emergency aid is provided by volunteer medical professionals who risk their lives to help those affected by war, disease, and disaster.  The organization was awarded with the Nobel Peace Prize in 1999.

Being an international organization that operates independently of political, religious or military agendas, they truly epitomize the idea of being a "Servant of All."  They help simply because help is needed.  To find out more about this organization, please see their website at:

While, in the past we have raised funds only within our community during the Feast of Lights, we would like to invite all Wheel of Time fans to participate with us from this year forward.  We all made a huge difference for Heifer International over the summer; let's do it again!  Please join us in making a difference this season.   Even a small donation, with enough of us working together, can make a tremendous difference.  "Wheel of Time" fans are some of the most dedicated in the world, and together we can help make the world a better place.

5 donors will be chosen at Random on January 1st to receive some special "thank you" prizes!! 

- A leatherbound special edition of "The Gathering Storm" signed by Brandon Sanderson and Team Jordan!

- 2 donors will receive the  WoT Calendar (the year may be over, but it has beautiful fan created artwork personally chosen by RJ) and a book plate signed by Robert Jordan himself.

- 2 donors will receive a free ticket to Jordan*Con, the world's only fan convention dedicated to the works of Robert Jordan.

To be eligible, please enter your real name in the "Display Name" portion on the donation page, and donate by December 31st.  Names will be announced here and on major fan websites in the first week of January.
