Fundraising Start Page

Please read all steps before starting.

If you would like to join and register for the TEAMM4M Marathon Training Program, please follow the steps outlined below.

TEAMM4M is a group marathon training program that will begin in June 2010 in the following cities: Hartford, CT; Denver, CO; and Washington, DC.  

TEAMM4M participants will run in the Wislon Bridge Half Marathon, the ING Hartford Marathon and Half Marathon, the Rock 'n' Roll Denver Marathon and Half Marathon, or the Marine Corps Marathon.

If you are not interested in joining TEAMM4M but would like to join our Miles for Melanoma Program, please click here. This program is for those who want to raise funds for the MRF by creating their own event or want to participate in existing events such as a local run/walk, a bike ride, or some other fundraising endeavor.

TEAMM4M Runners, follow these steps to create your TEAMM4M Fundraising Page:

Step 1: Click on 'Get Started' above.

Step 2: Select your race:

1. Wilson Bridge Half Marathon, Washington, DC - Sept. 19, 2010
   
2. ING Hartford Marathon and Half Marathon, Hartford, CT - Oct. 9, 2010
3. Rock 'n' Roll Denver Marathon and Half Marathon, Denver, CO - Oct. 17, 2010
4. Marine Corps Marathon, Washington, DC - Oct. 31, 2010
5. Other Race (you will join TEAMM4M and raise a required minimum, but will be participating in a marathon other than the four listed above.)

Step 3: Set-up your on-line fundraising page:

• Personalize the text and the photo on your Fundraising Page to express your passions and your purpose.
• Add a video, it's a great way to increase your fundraising and awareness
• Send the link to your friends, family, colleagues - anyone you think will help you reach your goal.

Step 4: Make a personal donation on your fundraising page - show everyone that you are committed to this goal.

Step 5: Click SAVE! You're done! Way to go!  Now send out your page to anyone and everyone, tell all your friends and family to include a link to your page in their emails. Talk to your local press and ask your company if they make matching donations.  Don' be shy - it doesn't hurt to try!
