This page is for Mary Anne Ahearn's kids, who make up Team Ahearn - Laurie Ahearn Euler, Tom Ahearn, Michael Ahearn, Kathy Ahearn O'Brien, Eileen Nogrady, Terence Ahearn and Jennifer Ahearn Murray!!  The name may have changed but it will always be MAA's Walk in our hearts!!

MAA's Walk is a 5k walk for Organ Donor awareness and education. This walk was founded by the Ahearn family of Bergenfield, NJ, in conjunction with Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, in memory of our Mom, Mary Anne Ahearn.  Proceeds from MAA’s Walk have gone towards buying much needed equipment for the transplant program at NBIMC, as well as funding the Community Medicine Chest program – transplant patients require thousands of dollars of medicine per month for life and this program is there to help them when there are lapses or problems with insurance.  For the first time, this years event will support both adult and pediatric heart health at NBIMC and the Children's Hospital of New Jersey.
