Each year thousands of children are diagnosed with a brain and/or spinal cord tumor and quite often are left with side effects that will follow them throughout their lives.  From surgery to chemotherapy and radiation to countless pokes and scopes our kids and their families face a true roller coaster ride of ups and downs post diagnosis.

William's Walk & Run (Presented by ELEKTA) is a very special fundraising event that can truly get the whole family involved for a wonderful cause.  This annual run/walk, hosted by the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children, is a time to remember and honor the very special children who have fought and/or continue to fight valiantly against their brain/spinal cord tumor.

Last year was the first year that all proceeds from William's Walk & Run (Presented by ELEKTA) were dedicated to pediatric brain tumor research and we had an AWESOME response with more than $90K raised.  Since January of 2008, 28 children known to BTFC have lost their fight against this disease.  Increased research funding is imperative for increased quality and quantity of life for these special children.  

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support our fundraising efforts.  Your donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference in the lives of children, not just in , but around the country.  We truly appreciate your support as we strive to surpass last year's fundraising efforts.
