The TEAM Evaluation Center, Inc., a private, non-profit organization based in Chattanooga, TN, was chartered in 1963 as the outcome of an initiative led by local community leaders, the Hamilton County Medical Society and the Metropolitan Council. Now known as The TEAM Centers, Inc., the organization continues today as a unique multi-speciality healthcare facility that provides clinical services to children and adults with developmental disabilities across the lifespan. TEAM's continuum of caregives each individual the hope, support, treatment and assistance needed for the complex conditions of autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities/ mental retardation, genetic disorders and other developmental disabilities.
TEAM served over 1600 individuals with developmental disabilities last year.

TEAM is dedicated to working collaboratively with other healthcare providers, social networks, advocacy and community entities to ensure excellence in diagnostics and treatment to meet the needs of our patients.
TEAM is licensed by the State of Tennessee as a Diagnostic and Evaluation Center and a Mental Health Outpatient Clinic. TEAM receives financial support from the State of Tennessee, the United Way of Greater Chattanooga, the United Way of Bradley and Polk Counties, Hamilton County Government, the Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga and McMinn County Government.
With satellite offices in Memphis, TN and Atlanta, GA, TEAM serves people from all over the Southeastern United States.
