A few months ago, we decided to challenge ourselves by signing up fo the Rothman Institute 8K (appx. 5 miles), taking place the same day as the Philadelphia marathon.  If you have met any of us, you will know that distance running has never been a Derderian family trait  - we prefer ping-pong and eating - so this will definitely be a challenging day for all of us!  (if you would like to join us in the race, there is still time to register!) 

Rather than running for just any cause, we want to help raise funds and awareness for a cause that is very close to our hearts.  A few months ago, two of our cousins, Alex and Zaven Silah, were kidnapped by their non-custodial father, along with their cousin Greg Silah.

All funds raised will be donated to the Association for the Recovery of Children, a nonprofit who has picked up the Silah boys' case.
