My daughter, Lucy, was born 10 weeks premature in January 2009 with Trisomy 21 and several congenital heart defects. She weighed 2lbs at birth and has come such a long way. She just had open heart surgery in August 2009 to repair her heart. She is still currently recovering from surgery in the hospital.

I am walking for the strongest person I know, my daughter. She's my hero and I hope you find it in your heart to donate to a worthy cause in respect to her name.
