WE DID IT! Team McManus ran and finished the 113th Boston Marathon.  We have been blessed to receive donations from $1-$1,000 and our benefit concerts were a huge success. But we are not stopping - every dollar you donate is going to make a difference in the lives of patients at Spaulding Rehab Hospital where remarkable recoveries like Mary's happen every day. If you've already donated, you have our sincere thanks and please spread the word to your friends and family about our cause. Imagine how good you will feel knowing that you helped someone to take a first step or to speak a first word after suffering a stroke or brain injury. You are also helping returning veterans. Spaulding Rehab Hospital is working with the VA and Dept of Defense to treat traumatic brain injury and post traumatic stress disorder in the veterans returning from Iraq.
No amount is too small -- help us to help those who want to learn how to help themselves!

Tom, Ruth Anne and Mary McManus aka Team McManus, pictured here,  are running the Boston Marathon so Spaulding Rehab Hospital can have a new building to provide patients with a better quality of life. Spaulding Rehab has provided patients with the tools that they need to succeed in the world after they have experienced physical trauma. We know firsthand how effective Spaulding is in changing lives.

In December 2006, Spaulding diagnosed Mary with post polio syndrome. They gave her physical therapy and the tools that she needed to regain her independence and functioning. Now she is going to run the Boston Marathon and as a team we want to thank Spaulding for all that they have done for us. We are so grateful to the Fenway Quintet for donating their time and talent for our Holiday benefit Concert in December. We raised over $1500! Thanks to all who attended and who donated to make this event a wonderful success!

We are so grateful to Ball In The House and the Brookline Community for helping us to raise over $2,000 at our Benefit Concert on 3/14. Rock on!
