Thank you to all who came out on Sunday to walk to support Team Tolerance and the Autism Project of Rhode Island! It was a great day!! So many families and friends were present to show their enthusiasm and support for our Coventry students and families. We do have some recent updates that are VERY exciting!
The Head family from Coventry who have two year old twin boys, Owen and Ryan who were recently diagnosed with autism, raised $4,700.00 and kindly merged their total donations with Team Tolerance! We are so excited and appreciative of their willingness to help send our teachers and staff to trainings that will benefit their boys in the long run. Their merger of funds has put Team Tolerance over $10,500.00 in donations! Thank you Head family and friends for your contribution to our town's team! You guys are the BEST!
Another exciting update: The Kirkland Family from Tiogue school has received notification that through Mr. Kirkland's employment that employee contributions will match Team Tolerance's total amount in donations! We have yet to realize what the total amount will be since there is time left to accept donations. Thank you, Kirkland family!
