The eye of a horse can hold a child's heart, and we can prove that every day through the magic we watch at Therapeutic Horsemanship, when youngsters share even an hour with therapy horses at the farm. These animals give so much to special-needs youngsters and at-risk teens in our community and only ask in return that we feed them well, treat their ailments, and respect their dignity.
Our goal is to raise funds for the Jessica Stalzer-Tripp Memorial Fund for Service Horses, to not just provide general health care to the four-footed therapists at THWM but to offer them the "extras" that can enhance both their mental and physical capabilities (i.e. chiropractics, equine dental specialties, massage therapy, energy medicine, natural hooftrimming, and more).
Jessie was an adult participant in our program for many years, wheelchair-bound due to multiple sclerosis, but whose emotional strength allowed her to serve as a board member and volunteer coordinator until her death from complications of her disease.
Please help us replenish Jessie's fund, so that we can ensure that the needs of the service animals she respected so much can be met. Your contribution is tax-deductible to a 501(c)3 charitable organization.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
