Please donate to The Work-Family Connection’s 20^th Anniversary fundraiser and invest today in your community!  Our goal is to raise $20,000.00 each month until September 1, 2009, in order to be able to maintain the scope of our current operations and to support the many families in our network who are suffering economic setbacks of job loss or salary cuts. While celebrating our 20^th anniversary this spring, at the same time we are focusing not only on the cost to our hard-working families, but also the value of our services to the community. 

 As we reflect upon the past 20 years, we have a great deal to celebrate. Our parents, students, school administrators and community leaders consistently tell us that they are 100% satisfied with the services we provide and with the quality of our programs and staff. Their “word-of-mouth” recommendations have sustained the growth and success of The Work-Family Connection throughout our 20 years!

 The outcomes of our external evaluations have revealed that The Work-Family Connection is positively impacting students’ achievements in all areas: academically, socially, physically, and emotionally. In addition we are serving as a critical support to more and more hard-working families.  Legislators and policy makers are realizing the importance of afterschool programs as critical in keeping kids on track in school, and reducing crime in their communities.

 Today, The Work-Family Connection’s impact has grown to serve over 1500 children in 29 schools throughout urban, rural and suburban communities statewide.  Over these past 20 years, we have served tens of thousands of New Jersey’s students and families.  We have seen hundreds of students who attended our Kindergarten wrap-around session, and our Afterschool programs, go on to graduate college.  We have created jobs for thousands of New Jersey residents, providing income, job training and valuable health care benefits.
