In Search of Zebras...

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page to benefit The Carcinoid Cancer Foundation™ (CCF).

CCF's mission is to provide support and to promote awareness, education, and research of this rare form of cancer to enable earlier, accurate diagnoses that will provide better opportunities for treatment. CCF's ultimate goal is to REACH for a cure.

This fundraising effort is dedicated in honor of Patricia Murphy, a patient with carcinoid cancer and my Mom!

Zebra stripes are used to symbolize rare diseases, including carcinoid cancer. Patients are often referred to as "zebras".

Donors of funds raised will be recognized in the program book for the next event of The Zebra Ball - Stars for the Stripes, www.thezebraball.com, which will be held during Chicago's CARCINOID CANCER/NETs AWARENESS MONTH on Saturday, February 13, 2010 in Chicago, to benefit The Carcinoid Cancer Foundation, www.carcinoid.org.
