You would think for all the swimming I have done in my life, I should have already done something like this.  However, I have never done an open water swim.  I guess the idea of doing something like this for charity is making the idea of open water swimming more compelling.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Chester River Association along with various small local organizations that assist individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS.  There are several good reasons to help in this project.
