Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I am now beginning my 15th year of living with diabetes. I, and my family, have been involved with Camp Seale Harris and Southeast Diabetes Education Services for the past 8 years now (really since moving to Alabama). 

I am almost 16, going to school at Enterprise High. I dance--on the Dance Line, at Center Stage, and at Andalusia Ballet. Dancing is my passion and my outlet.

All proceeds go towards helping Southeast Diabetes Education Services. What is Southeast Diabetes Education Services? SDES is a non-profit, almost purely voluntary organization established and operated to help support the educational and family education needs for children affected with diabetes (type 1 or insulin dependent and increasingly with helping those with type 2 disease). SDES operated Camp Seale Harris and Camp Sugar Falls, diabetic camps for children and teens, as well as Family Weekend Seminars and support gatherings.

Diabetes is a chronic condition--it's a life condition. It is one that is quite hard on the individual, especially a child, and the family. However, it is one that can be overcome, controlled, maintained. Some are more fortunate than others and SDES is there to provide help to all. Children and families come from the surrounding states and beyond--so this is not just an Alabama organization. There are many children and families in the region who just cannot afford the help and support needed to manage this condition--so please help if you can.

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. Even if everyone just gives a little ($1, $5, $10...), collectively, hopefully, all can help me make our goal for this year...
