Greetings from Sigma Phi Epsilon!

For the 17th consecutive year, Sigma Phi Epsilon is actively raising money for our philanthropy, Tour de Touchdown. Over the past 17 years we have raised over $100,000, with $30,000 being donated in the last three years.

We would like to see this growth continue, and have set our fund-raising goal at $10,000 for this fall. All of the money that we raise goes to the University of Wisconsin's American Family Children's Hospital.

Money raised in the past has gone to playroom upgrades, computers, birthday supplies, and many other items that help make life for the 60 long-term patients  at the Children's Hospital more normal and comfortable.

This year we will continue that tradition, and supplement it by using a portion of funds raised to develop continuous, long-term programming (such as weekly Bingo) that would be available to all of the patients, including the ones that are bed-ridden and isolated. This program would be developed and implemented by the men of Sigma Phi Epsilon in conjunction with the Children's Hospital.

On Wednesday, November 5th, the bike-riding team of Sigma Phi Epsilon will bike 375 miles to the University of Indiana campus to bring the game football to Badgers head coach Bret Bielema. On November 8th, the Badgers will be playing the Indiana Hoosiers, and it is our responsibility to ensure the ball gets into Coach Bielema's hands on time.
