Last year I taught an exploratory called "Bark For Art". The class and I painted 40 canvas' of cats, dogs and rabbits that were waiting to be adopted or animals that touched the employees hearts. The canvas' were donated to the Humane Society to be auctioned or kept. Employees loved the paintings so much, they couldn't bare to part without them, so they are hanging in the lobby. Along with the canvas' students created a mosaic tile and painted barrels for donation items. Two of my students and I have gone through training to become volunteers at the Harbor Humane Society. On September 27, Lucy & I will be participating in the Tails on Trails benefit for the Harbor Humane Society. Our goal is to raise $500!! Although it may sound like a lot, I am confident with your help we can do it! Where Does All The Money Go? $5 Provides a bag of cat litter to keep kitties clean. $15 Helps test every cat for debilitating diseases so they can be treated properly. $30 Provides life saving medication for ill pets. $100 Helps cover the cost of x-rays for critically injured animals Happy Tails & Thanks for the support!
