Treasured friends and family,
When Elly was diagnosed with Down syndrome we had absolutely no idea how blessed we would be. We have discovered many hidden treasures in the love and support we have received, in the wonderful people we have met and in Elly! This year as we participate in the Buddy Walk, our desire is to celebrate our treasures and encourage you to find the treasures in your lives too.
This year's Buddy Walk will be held on Sunday, October 7th at 12 noon at Como Park in St. Paul. There will be free t-shirts, lunches and entertainment once again. This year will also have off-site parking with a trolley service. If you are able to attend the walk, please email us at: family@gotsnow.org
The number one focus of the Buddy Walk is to promote awareness and advocacy for people with Down syndrome but it is also an important source of financial support for the Down Syndrome Association of Minnesota. The Buddy Walk has raised thousands of dollars to support Association activities that have blessed Elly, our family, and many others. The Down Syndrome Association is committed to enhancing the quality of life and realizing the potential of all individuals with Down syndrome.
We hope that you will be able to join us for the Buddy Walk! If you are unable to join us, we thank you for your love and support and ask for your continued thoughts and prayers.
The Snow Family Greg, Connie, Jacob, Isaac, Clara, and Elly For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Luke 12:34
