True North Treks is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting young adult cancer survivors through treks in nature focusing on outdoor skills training and mindful awareness practices.

We at True North Treks understand that many young adult cancer survivors face financial challenges due to inability to work, medical and insurance bills, school loans, and disrupted careers. For this reason, treks are provided at no cost to survivors who would not otherwise be able to attend.

THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN! You have the chance to raise money for a young adult cancer survivor to go on a trek. How about raising enough to support an ENTIRE trek? You can!

How it works: Through FirstGiving, you can create your own fundraising page. You personalize it with pictures, your own story, and your challenge to raise money to support True North Treks. We'll be happy to supply you with some sample text that you can personalize to get you started.

Often times people feel helpless watching someone battle cancer. Now is a chance for them to offer their support to young adults who have faced cancer. The biggest thing is...YOU HAVE TO ASK. People will give money, but generally they are waiting to be asked to do so, and for how much.

Your Job: Get creative! Run a race, bake cookies, hold a raffle, ask a local bar to charge a cover and have proceeds support TNT, get sponsored per mile on a bike ride, make holiday cards, and more!
