Be a fan of excitement, chills and goodwill: Support my Polar Bear Plunge!

I have finally taken the 'Plunge" off the deep end!  I am going to join the Super Plungers and do a 24 hour plunge on January 31, 2009!!  This is 24 plunges in 24 hours!  And you all just thought I was crazy!! 

My mission is to raise $5000 to participate in the Super Plunge event AND that is where all of you come in!!  I am looking for sponsors who want to ensure that I have to do this!!!  You know- no backing out- no getting "cold feet"- pardon the pun... I need you all to be sure that I am there doing 24 plunges!!!  It would be a horrible shame to have me running for the hills to stay warm and toasty!!!

You could form a team and do the final plunge with me... or simply register and do it yourself.  I am a firm believer "the more... the merrier!"  Why not make this a party that we can remember FOREVER???  I will do 23 plunges and on #24, we can all plunge together!  How awesome would that be?  And my "handlers" could easily do that after being there to help me!!!

This "unbearable" event is a unique opportunity for individuals, businesses and organizations to support local Special Olympics athletes by jumping, diving or crawling into the sparkling, frigid waters of Missouri. Since its inception 13 years ago, 6,263  have taken the plunge in lakes across the state of Missouri, raising $1,304,669.
