As many of you are aware, these are tremendously difficult economic times for individuals with disabilities. Recently, the budgets for adults that are supported by UCPRI were cut by over 10%, which will severely compromise our ability to meet the goals of our mission: to advance the independence, productivity, and full citizenship of individuals with cerebral palsy and other disabilities. Your participation in this event and the funds we raise will help to supplement these cuts and help us to continue as we strive to provide high quality supports to those individuals who need them the most.
