MANY THANKS to our Tour de Vail participants and donors for a very successful event!
BUT, while our ‘Roll & Stroll for Mental Health’ took place on July 25, IT’S NOT OVER YET!
This page tells you we raised around $14,000 . . . this is only PART of the story . . . this is the amount generated through this website . . . in fact, WE HAVE ACTUALLY RAISED OVER $26,000 – and PROCEEDS CONTINUE TO COME IN!
THE $14,000 DOESN’T INCLUDE: two corporate sponsorships, registration fees, pledge dollars raised by participants off-line, contributions of goods and services, financial donations, and all the wonderful volunteer support that made this special day possible.
THE REAL STORY HERE is that RECOVERY IS POSSIBLE for people with mental illness. With the services and support they receive through Vail Place, people with mental illness do recover and go on to live productive and self-sufficient lives.
SADLY, $26,000 IS NOT $40,000 – our fundraising goal for this event. Current cuts to public funding are affecting our agency budget and directly impacting the people we serve – so we’ve been counting on the proceeds from this year’s Tour de Vail more than ever.
HAPPILY, IT’S NOT TOO LATE TO CONTRIBUTE! Click the ‘Donate’ button to make an online gift, or the ‘Find’ button to contribute to one of our Tour de Vail participants. Either way, your support of Vail Place is a great investment with many happy returns in people’s lives.
THANK YOU for supporting the mission of Vail Place - To transform the lives of people with mental illness through recovery-oriented community support services that empower them to achieve self-sufficiency. Services provide essential assistance with: housing; employment; social recreation; basic life skills; and service coordination.
