Velvet is an 18 year old chocolate palamino shetland mare.  She came to us last year due to a founder issue.  She is very sweet and has put up with everything we've done to get her feet started to grow back with great patience. Velvet's hay per month is $65, her senior feed is $52, her farrier is $30.  When the expense for her teeth, vaccinations, and worming are added it brings her yearly expenses to $1700.  Velvet is in need of Guardian Angels to help cover her care costs.
