Pet Food Drive for the Needy!
Seniors living on fixed incomes and the working poor have been the hardest hit by skyrocketing costs for gas, food, and other staples. Many have beloved pets but are struggling to afford dog and cat food.
On Sat., Oct. 25, from 12 noon-4 pm, Voices for Animals will be collecting donated pet food to help financially strapped pet owners. The food drive will take place at the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA (visit www.caspca.org for directions).
You Can Help!
Please bring donations of cat or dog food on Oct. 25, or you can make a secure online donation. All money donated will be used to purchase pet food for people who can’t otherwise afford it. Donations are tax deductible.
