The Annual Fund is the life blood of Walker’s programs. This year’s goal of $1.5 million is more important than ever. Each year, it creates a sustainable and enriching education, therapeutic environment and home setting for children, teens and their families.

The purpose of our Annual Fund is to bridge the gap between reimbursed costs and the actual cost of caring for children 24 hours a day/7 days a week. It bridges the gap between tuition and the cost of turning a good education into an excellent one. It is the difference between day to day activities and special moments that will shape a child's future.

The Annual Fund supplies classrooms, residences, and after-school programs with the supplies they need - from pencils and paper to sheets and towels.

The Annual Fund also creates opportunity for children to participate in fulfilling extracurricular activities that would be available at any other school or home setting like Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, Little League, swim lessons and ballet as well as educational field trips and special experiences that puts smiles on student's faces and happy memories in children’s hearts.
