Welcome!

Thousands of families will go without heat this winter. Walk for Warmth dollars can keep them warm!

Heat for your home in the winter is one of life’s basic necessities that is often over looked. This winter, thousands of Out-Wayne County families will struggle to keep warm under blankets and coats as they can’t afford heat for their homes.

Wayne Metro’s Walk for Warmth raises awareness and dollars to help the thousands of people in our area who will face heat related emergencies this year. The need is HUGE this year as the community continues to struggle from economic challenges and budget cuts have had a significant impact on available assistance.

We've made it simple for you to raise funds quickly and easily for Wayne Metro's 16th Annual Walk for Warmth on Saturday, March 3, 2012 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Westland Mall in Westland, MI (35000 W. Warren).

All money raised through the Walk for Warmth stays directly in Out-Wayne County communities and provides direct assistance to help our neighbors stay safe and warm through the winter months.

You can create a FREE custom web page for collecting pledges for the 16th Annual Walk for Warmth! You can also join a team.
