Thank you for visiting the CPT Jeremy Chandler Running Team fundraising page!
CPT Jeremy Chandler was a highly decorated Special Forces officer assigned to 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) at Fort Bragg, NC. CPT Chandler was KIA on August 11 of 2005 while on his third deployment to Afghanistan for Operation Enduring Freedom in support of the Global War on Terrorism. CPT Jeremy Chandler is survived by his wife, Wendy; his parents LTC (Ret) Alan and Jonnie Chandler; and his sister Alecia Chandler Wilder.
We are running in honor and remembrance of our hero-CPT Jeremy Chandler, in honor of the elite Special Forces soldiers, and in honor of each and every courageous soldier who has served and fought in each branch of our U.S. military and for their families.
Our mission is to raise awareness and money for some very special spouses-surviving widows of Special Operations personnel and Marines who have been killed in the Global War on Terrorism.
The widows and the UWSF are most grateful for your support. Receiving your support and the support of the UWSF will help the surviving widows through their healing process in mulitple ways. Please refer to the UWSF website for more information on the foundation and the efforts the UWSF makes to faciliate the widows and their families.
