Hey everyone. Daisy is now 14 and has retired from our Humane Society Pet Therapy Program. She has only been in the program for a short while, but has brought many smiles to people who were in need of some. They were so thankful to have her visit every week to pet her and bring a little bit of the outside world into their nursing home rooms. Now its time for Daisy to rest. Her legs have been tired, and she has trouble getting up and down. She also has been diagnosed with lymphoma, so we are just letting her live her life out with us by her side.
Not only did this help the people in the facility but it brought great rewards to Daisy and I. I could swear that she was smiling while greeting the people in the home. The Humane Society works so hard to bring joy to all that needs it and homes for all the animals that need them.
If you are interested in sponsoring us, please do. Just follow the directions on the page. The kids, Richard, (he doesnt know yet!) and I will be walking to support this wonderful organization.
Thank you for your support from the bottom of all our hearts,
Love, Wendy and Daisy
