The 2012 Melissa Edwards Memorial 5K Run / Walk
This event is dedicated to Melissa (9/11/1990 - 3/19/2008), an avid reader and library volunteer.

Registration opens at 9:00 am
Location: LJ's Fitness, 103 N. 3rd St. Womelsdorf
A light lunch will be served after the Run.

Over $100,000 has been donated or raised in Melissa's memory.  The majority of these funds were used to complete the Library renovation.  The renovated portion of the Library was dedicated in Melissa Edwards' memory on July 17, 2011.

This event is an important fundraiser for the Womelsdorf Community Library due to ongoing state funding cuts.   Your support will help the Library to continue to serve the community.

Participants can register, donate and organize a team online through this firstgiving web site.

The Run/Walk information and registration forms can also be printed from the Library web site: www.berks.lib.pa.us/womelsdorfcl/ . Registration  forms are also available at the library and LJ's Fitness.. Please register by April 3, to receive a Souvenir shirt.

 All participants must sign a release prior to the race. 

 Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent sigh a waiver the day of the walk.
