The 2011 Melissa Edwards Memorial 5K Run / Walk
This event is dedicated to Melissa (9/11/1990 - 3/19/2008), an avid reader and library volunteer.

Registration opens at 9:30 am
Location: LJ's Fitness, 103 N. 3rd St. Womelsdorf
A light lunch will be served after the Run.

We have raised approximately $484,000.00. Thank you so much for your support! The renovation of the original bank and post office, built in 1903 and 1916 began last August and will be complete this spring. We will be planning a ribbon cutting once we have moved back into the original building. Look for the announcement! We will now have a building thoroughly updated to current environmental, access and energy codes, ready to provide quality library services to our community for years to come.

This year, the Memorial Run/Walk will benefit the Library's children's section. We are looking forward to making this a very special place for the children.  

Participants can register, donate and organize a team online through this firstgiving web site.

The Run/Walk information and registration forms can also be printed from the Library web site: www.berks.lib.pa.us/womelsdorfcl/ . Registration  forms are also available at the library and LJ's Fitness.. Please register by March 29rd, to receive a Souvenir shirt.

      Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent sigh a waiver the day of the walk.
