We have met our fundraising goals for CAMFED (Campaign for Female Education) and are now raising money for World Bicycle Relief.

While cycling through Zambia in 2007 we met many Africans who were riding bikes donated by WBR.  These people were mostly teachers, care givers and students who were using their bikes to go to work or attend school.  Without a bicycle it would have been impossible for these people to work or study.  Giving a bicycle to someone in need is a simple, effective way to reduce poverty and make people self-sufficient.

Bicycles fulfill basic needs by providing increased access to healthcare, education and economic development, especially when compared to the alternative of walking. Bicycles empower individuals, their families, and their communities. Our mission is to help World Bicycle Relief provide access to independence and livelihood through The Power of Bicycles.
