World Concern’s 2010 Free Them: Stop Human Trafficking 5k Fun Run & Walk empowers you to protect vulnerable children across the world. This second-annual 5k event in Seattle will enable children to learn about the incredible danger of trafficking and put them in school and receive job-related skills to help escape the risk of being trafficked. By supporting the Free Them: Stop Human Trafficking 5k Fun Run & Walk, you are making a real difference in the life of a child!

The “Free Them” 5K to Stop Human Trafficking is almost here, Saturday, May 1. We want to make sure you have all the information you need to make it a great day. This is a RAIN OR SHINE event, so please come prepared. There will be a place for you to check in any belongings.

Parking:
Parking areas are marked on the attached map. We are encouraging carpooling, as parking is limited and we are expecting a large crowd. Please be respectful of CRISTA neighbors by not blocking driveways.
Registration:
Registration officially opens at 8:30am. It’s in front of the Mike Martin Administration Building (Building 1 on the map). Proceed to the pre-registration booth to pick up your T-shirt, Bib # and Registration Packet.
Onsite Registration is available:
It's not too late to grab a friend and bring them along. “Day of” registration is available for the same fee of $25 for adults and $10 for children. T-shirt availability is not guaranteed.
Schedule:
Please be ready to run at 9:30am sharp. Runners line up toward the front and walkers stay to the back.
8:30am - Registration Opens
9:15am - Opening Ceremony
9:30am - Race Begins
12:00pm - Event Closed
Informational Booths:
Open 8:30am -12:00pm
Food:
Complimentary bottles of water will be available to all participants after the race.
Jersey Mike's subs, pop, and chips available after the race for only a $3 donation.
Plan to stay after the race, eat some subs, and visit all the booths to learn more about human trafficking and what people in our area are doing about it.
Extra t-shirts will be available for $10 after the race.
Fundraising:
It's not too late to get in those last minute donations. Donations will be accepted at registration.
There will be great prizes for the top individual fundraisers and top fundraising team!
