Hey there fellow Questers!

Welcome to my FirstGiving site!

As many of you know, I am preparing to move to Nairobi, Kenya, in September, for two years to serve as the Communication Liaison for World Concern. I will be traveling all over Kenya, Chad, South Sudan, and Somalia - interviewing the beneficiaries of World Concern's various development projects. I will be sharing their stories with those at home - connecting people to the amazing work of World Concern and significant issues that people are facing on a daily basis.

In order to leave for Nairobi, I need to raise the remainder of my budget. 

In order to live in Nairobi, and successfully work as the Communication Liaison, I need to raise $3400 per month. So far I have raised $1200, about a third of this budget.

This means that if only 20 people donate $15 per month, 20 people donate $25 per month, 20 people donate $40 per month, and 10 people donate $50 per month, I will have reached my goal.

It is my goal to go to Africa by the end of this summer so that I can travel with Derek Sciba, the Marketing Director and a fellow Quester. I would like to be able to train with him in the field.

Thus, this goal needs to be reached by the end of August! I believe it is possible!
