Here are the facts (as reported by the CDC): Cancer is the FOURTH most common cause of death among persons age 1 to 19 years old in the United States; a total of 34,500 childhood cancer deaths were reported in the US between 1990 and 2004, with more than 2200 of those in 2004 alone and; despite increasing cancer rates among children, more are surviving.

How can you and I help?  By donating our hard-earned money to help fund research that will hopefully eliminate the possibilities of cancer among children.

XO Communications is teaming up with Alex's Lemonade Stand for a second year in a row to raise funds for childhood cancer research.  Last summer, XO hosted over 40 lemonade stands across the country and raised nearly $45K for this great cause.

Our local Seattle office will be hosting Alex's Lemonade Stand at Whole Foods Market 2210 Westlake Ave Seattle, WA 98121 on Friday, September 12th from 11:00am - 4:00pm.
